Dear Alumni,
At the outset, I wish all the alumni a happy and prosperous new year. A new year is unfolding like a blossom with petals curled tightly concealing the beauty within.
Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.

This can be achieved by education and education is a journey, not a destination.
Learning is like growing upstream and not to advance is to drop back. So, lets not drop back by not advancing in our profession as this journey is not yet over. Our education has so much of momentum and we should be committed to learn more as the velocity of the progress is increasing exponentially. It thus demands constant involvement, learning, and sharing the experience as it is the source of knowledge. It is very essential to upgrade and revolutionize with constantly evolving scientific standards in our profession because when you know better, you do better.
A scientific publication is the strength and mainstay of the organization which opens up new horizons of development and learning for both the authors and the readers through the experiences shared. Our alumni journal is a platform which welcomes to share the contributions in our profession, concerned with patient care, evidence-based scientific research articles, and professional expertise. Learning is the only thing the mind never exhausts, never fears, never regrets, and it is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.
As we are all set to go for the alumni meet on December 3, 2016, I hope you will certainly mark this day in your calendar to walk down the memory lanes and make it available to be with your adorable teachers, mentors, and not the least, your bosom friends and colleagues. Anticipating positive and enthusiastic response from you.
