A warm welcome one and all to our journal, which is here with a bunch of research work. It is an appreciable effort put forward by our alumnus and authors for constant support in uplifting the journal, which should be mentioned on special note.

Medical research is the systematic investigation of materials and sources to establish facts and reach new conclusions about the current concepts on overall health. It leads to an expansion of knowledge and discoveries on numerable strategies for understanding the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of health-related problems. As oral health is an integral part of general health, dental research is also a crucial component of medical research. Sleeping research on the desk of researcher is of no value to the humankind. Hence, the research work undertaken is always needed to be encouraged to publish.
Now, there is a trend for publishing positive result clinical trials, which may mislead the practice of “evidence-based medicine.” The Clinical Trials Registry-India, hosted at the Indian Council of Medical Researcher's National Institute of Medical Statistics, is a free and online public record system for Registration of Clinical Trials being conducted in India. Today many Institutional Ethical Committees are encouraging researchers to register all clinical trials and making their results available publicly, which will safeguard the patient interest, ensure transparency, accountability, and accessibility. This will help to raise the standard of research and I expect all the authors to take a step ahead with an aspiring and enthusiastic approach regarding the improvement of the quality and standard of their work.
Hope the contents of the present issue would enlighten many igniting minds for future innovations and researches.
